SURPRISE FARM RETREAT CENTER
Mindfulness of Letting Go
"Go as a River” -Thich Nhat Hanh
Saturday, November 2nd, 1:30-6:30pm,
(add-on camping option)
In our series on ritual and practices, we focus on making our activities in everyday life more meaningful when intention, attention, and an attitude of openness are used. Mindfulness means paying attention to and being in the present moment for all experiences. In this workshop on Mindfulness of Letting Go we will set intentions for our practice and let go of the habit energy that has been blocking us from a mindful life.
Together we will experience and learn mindful practices on a peaceful Saturday afternoon including sitting meditation, walking meditation, loving-kindness, and mindful eating amongst the beautiful natural setting at Surprise Farm Retreat Center.
The setting provides us with the opportunity to spend time in Mother Nature’s embrace to reflect and enrich our process. We practice letting nature heal us.
This workshop includes the opportunity for fire-pit storytelling, spending the night in one of our accommodation options and a morning meditation.
