About the Workshop:

Learn the basics of sustainable and water wise landscape design in this educational hands-on workshop. This beginner friendly course will take you through the steps of designing your own outdoor space. You don’t have to be an experienced gardener or plant expert to design an amazing outdoor oasis.

This Workshop will teach you:

What tools you will need for the design process
The basics of measuring a space and creating a base plan
Design concepts and practices
How to layout a comprehensive design
Picking and sourcing the right materials
Sustainable design considerations
Common landscaping mistakes and how to avoid them

Angelina Sanchez has a degree in Landscape Design, is certified in permaculture, and has been practicing water wise and sustainable landscape design in Southern California for the past decade. She is passionate about nature and believes that conscious landscape design can help restore harmony to the natural world. Some of her other hobbies include wilderness survival skills, ethnobotany, and learning about medicinal plants.

Saturday November 16 10am-5pm

A sustainable suggested donation to the Non-profit Retreat Center would be $150.
